A while ago I had used the Stampin' Up Elements of Style Stamp Set to create a monochromatic color scheme for my card and I had mentioned that you could use just about any color scheme and come up with a beautiful card. Well, here it is. I love the softness of this card and the Baja Breeze ink is really quite soft and I think lends itself perfectly for a bridal shower card.
Here is what I did. I started with Stampin' Up Whisper White Card Stock in 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 and folded it in half. With the swirl stamp from Stampin' Up Elements of Style I randomly stamped one side of the outside part of the card.
Then I layered on top of that some Stampin' Up Baja Breeze Card Stock, Stampin' Up Whisper White CS (sponged with Baja Breeze) and more Baja Breeze Card Stock that was run through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder. However, before running it through the Big Shot I stamped the floral stamp from Elements of Style onto the Baja Breeze with Baja Breeze ink. I also sponged it after I ran it through the Big Shot making sure to sponge some of the raised elements.
Then I inked the floral image in Baja Breeze and stamped off onto a piece of scrap and then without re-inking I stamped the floral image once again on a smaller piece of Whisper White and then stamped "For Your Shower", from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set, on it with Baja Breeze stamp set. I proceeded to punch it out with the Stampin' Up Decorative Label Punch. I punched out another from the Baja Breeze, cut in half length wise and attached to the back of "For Your Shower" and then attached it to the card using dimensionals.
Lastly, I added Stampin' Up White Satin Ribbon to the bottom edge. I just love the softness of this card and I especially love how the tag with the greeting looks like a toile.
