Thought I would show you another Nature's Walk card I made. If you love this set as much as I do then I would get it sooner rather than later as it will not be available after the end of this month! We are hoping for a carry over into our main catalog but no one knows if that will happen and it would be a shame not to own this gorgeous set.
Many of you have probably wondered what to do with the bee in this Nature Walk stamp set. Yes, you can use a light colored ink pad and stamp as a small bee on a flower or such but just take a look at what else you can do. I do not take credit for this one as I saw this somewhere on the net and just had to make one.
I randomly stamped the bee on Whisper White CS and then colored in the body with Daffodil Delight Stampin' Writer from Stampin' Up and using the Stampin' Up Blender Pen and Baja Breeze ink pad I gently colored in the wings. The bee is stamped in black Stazon.
I punched the scallop with the 1 & 3/4 Scallop Punch from Stampin' Up and used a greeting from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set (thinking of you, in this case). I then stamped the flower from the Nature Walk Set around the scalloped circle, stamped and colored another bee and sponged the edges is Crumb Cake. Using Soft Suede Ink I stamped the flower in the lower right hand corner several times to give the impression of a bunch of flower. The little scalloped border was made with Daffodil Delight CS and the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch from Stampin' Up.
Other materials used: Cherry Cobbler CS, Linen Thread and Early Espresso CS.
Hope you like this card.
Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping,
